Wynatte was no stranger to the National Horse Show’s award ceremonies, having taken two prior Championship titles earlier this week in the Pérez & Bennett Adult Amateur Equitation 36 & Over Section B, Taylor Harris Insurance Services National Horse Show Adult Equitation Championship 36 & Over, as well as their third and final tricolor of the 2024 National Horse Show in the National Horse Show $10,000 Adult Amateur Hunter Classic, presented by Mr. & Mrs. Ernest Oare.
Wyanette said after her win, “He was amazing. He loves big venues, and he’s kind of a show-horse at home. But he has kind of been a dream come true for me.”
The National Horse Show is a staple on Wynatte’s show schedule, being her only off-property horse show for the year.
When asked about Teddy’s personality, Wyanette replied, “He is a big teddy bear. He loves his mints, and he loves his groom.”
When asked what was next to conquer with Teddy she replied, “I don’t know yet. I have to sit down and figure it out. I have won the other regional medal finals in our area, so I am at a loss. I will probably do some national derbies, which we have done the past couple of years, and maybe some “A/Os…”
