Lexington, KY – September 5, 2019 – The National Horse Show is pleased to announce that it has once again been selected to host a coveted Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ North American League Qualifier. Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Lexington will continue to be a pivotal American show jumping competition from 2020-2023. The National Horse Show has a history of providing unparalleled show jumping competition and over the last decade, the National Horse Show has played host to some of the top equestrian athletes, including McLain Ward, Beezie Madden, Kent Farrington, and Denis Lynch, competing in CSI-4* competition. This announcement propels the historic horse show into the future with a reinvigorated sense of purpose to provide top class equestrian competition.
The Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Lexington be an integral part of the NAL season where the best equestrian in the world will compete for available points that will enable them to qualifying for the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Final, The newly formatted NAL seasons will kick off in Sacramento (USA) and continue to Washington, D.C. (USA) before stopping in, Lexington (USA). Other stops will include Toronto (CAN), Las Vegas (USA), Fort Worth (USA) and Guadalajara (MEX) and Wellington (USA).
The National Horse Show is one of the most revered and storied horse shows in America. It has a rich history and is driven by tradition. Every fall, the competition display’s top professional, amateur, and junior competition and acting as the last stop in the east coast indoor competition season.

This year, the National Horse Show will take place from October 25- November 3 in the Alltech Arena at the Kentucky Horse Park. The schedule offers exhibitors and spectators alike, a one-of-a-kind horse show experience, including the $225,000 Longines FEI World Cup™ Jumping Lexington as well as a $50,000 Hunter Classic, and the ASPCA Maclay Finals.
The 2019 National Horse Show is offering over $700,000 in prize money as an FEI CSI4*-W designated event. The return of the National Horse Show $50,000 Hunter Classic along with the ASPCA Maclay Finals and $225,000 Longines FEI World Cup™ Jumping Lexington has made the National Horse Show a must-attend event for equestrians around the world as the finale to their summer equestrian seasons.
