National Horse Show Adjusts Qualification Guidelines for Equitation Championships

Lexington, KY – July 6, 2020 –  As the National Horse Show (NHS) continues to monitor the status of each state’s reopening due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the NHS announces adjusted qualifying points for the 2020 ASPCA Maclay Finals and 2020 Hamel Foundation NHS 3’3” Equitation Championship in several states. These changes are in accordance with the guidelines produced by the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) and are subject to change based on the on-going nature of the pandemic and its effects on equestrian sporting events around the nation.

The NHS will continue to monitor the status of Maclay and Hamel rider’s progress and make any necessary adjustments to the qualifying criteria as needed.
