Free x Rein Named Title Sponsor of the $35,000 International Jumper Welcome Speed Class

Lexington, Ky. — Oct. 11, 2018 — The National Horse Show is pleased to announce the addition of elegant equestrian clothing company, Free x Rein, to its host of prestigious sponsors. Free x Rein will be featured as the title sponsor of the $35,000 International Jumper Welcome Speed class that will be the highlight event on Wednesday evening, October 31.

Free x Rein was founded by lifelong equestrians Andrea and Dana who met at a barn in Darien, Connecticut. When they learned they lived in the same building in Manhattan, the pair immediately began commuting to ride together. Free x Rein was born in those car rides between city life and the stable, from both women’s mutual desire for equestrian clothes that had duality and style.

“We are looking forward to showcasing our company with the National Horse Show,” remarked the founders. ” We feel Free x Rein and the National Show are both taking traditional equestrian sport and giving it a modern and fashionable twist. It seems the ideal partnership.”

Free x Rein pieces are designed feel-first, with performance as the top priority. Each piece is test-rode, evaluated by Olympians and equine enthusiasts alike, to determine the perfect fabrications and fit. Outside of the stable, the clothes embody an authentic sportswear aesthetic.

After two years of development the company launched their first riding pant with breech styles for jumper and hunter riders. Cut from four-way stretch cotton, these updated breeches create a classic silhouette with maximum movability. Boots off, the unique bottoms are flattering ankle-cropped pants, a statement of unbridled equestrian style.

The brand’s revolutionary bodysuits are a stylish new take on those frustrating sun and show shirts that are always coming untucked. Because of the bodysuit design, these tops stay smooth and tucked, with front-snaps designed to ride, and mesh insert panels for breathability. Available in long and short sleeve styles, the bodysuits are cut from a light, silky jersey that layers effortlessly.
