Lexington, KY— Oct. 19, 2017— The 2017 CP National Horse Show returns to the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky from Oct. 31- Nov. 5, 2017. The prestigious horse show will host some of the nation’s most talented show jumpers competing for prizes that total $810,000. The highly-competitive divisions and substantial prize money would not be possible without the generous support of gracious sponsors.

For the third year in a row, we are honored to host the $250,000 Longines FEI World Cup™ Jumping Lexington, presented by Canadian Pacific (CP). As the most prestigious and high-stakes class of the weekend, athletes competing in this class are hoping to earn a coveted place at the Longines FEI World Cup™ Jumping Finals in Paris in 2018. The event is one of only seven qualifying competitions in the Eastern United States.
Our title sponsor, Canadian Pacific, is also the title sponsor of the $130,000 CP International Open Jumper class which takes place at 7:30pm on Thursday, November 2. Based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Canadian Pacific has been the sponsor for the National Horse Show for many years. The company owns over 14,000 miles of railroad track spanning across Canada and the United States and serves major cities such as Detroit, Chicago, and New York City.
While the National Horse Show is recognized for its world-class jumper competition, it also plays host to several top-rated hunter divisions as well as the featuring the prestigious ASPCA Maclay National Championship presented by Chansonette Farm. Through the support of these generous sponsors, the show is able to host some of the most prestigious hunter competitions of the year with over $195,000 in total prize money available.
The Amateur Owner Hunter 18-35 division will be sponsored by Woodland Way, while Meralex Farm & Hunt, LTD co-sponsor the Over 35 division. Suzanne Thoben Marquard will sponsor the $15,000 Amateur Owner Hunter Under 35 division while the $15,000 High-Performance Conformation Hunters will be sponsored by the Wheeler Family.
